Chavivim, Hatzoloh and Ramapo Police Free an Unconscious Woman From a Locked Car at Viola Park

On the night of Sunday, June 14, while teams were already out searching for two missing boys in Monsey, the evening turned up a second, unrelated emergency. Members came upon a woman unconscious in a parked vehicle at Viola Park — she had been inside for hours, with a dog.

A Coordinated Response

Hatzoloh, Chavivim, and the Ramapo Police Department responded together. Chavivim members quickly gained access to the locked car; Ramapo Police secured the dog that was inside; and Hatzoloh moved in to treat the patient. She was transported to the hospital in critical condition.

The response at Viola Park, where members worked to open the locked vehicle.

Two Calls, One Night

The find came in the middle of an already active search — a reminder of how quickly one call can become two. With members and resources already staged nearby for the missing-boys search, the response to the car came together fast: open the vehicle, secure the dog, get the patient to care.

Both missing boys were located safe and sound that same night. Read the full account of the Monsey search →
